Products that require EPA registration are EPA-registered, and every product is used according to its applicable labeling. Re-entry guidance is product-specific—often once treated areas are dry, and the exact guidance is provided for that application. We leave a written record of the product, time of application, and EPA registration number when applicable. Botanical/minimum-risk and conventional options are available.

How quickly you notice a difference depends on pest pressure, weather, the product used and property conditions. Mosquito activity may change sooner; tick reduction can take longer and builds with consistent seasonal service.

No. As long as we can access the yard and gates are unlocked, you don't need to be there. A notice is left at the door showing what was applied and the label's re-entry interval.

We don't apply in rain or heavy wind because those conditions can affect coverage and increase drift. If weather pushes your visit, we'll reschedule. If rain arrives after an application, whether any follow-up is needed depends on the product, drying time and conditions—contact us if you're concerned.

Monthly works well for many Cape properties and covers both ticks and mosquitoes. If your property is near wetlands, heavily wooded, or used constantly in July and August, twice-monthly service provides more frequent coverage and may be a better fit.

April through October — seven monthly treatments. Nymphal deer ticks are especially active from May through July, while adults are most active in spring and fall and can remain active during mild winter weather whenever temperatures are above freezing. A November treatment can also be added for $100, or the full eight-treatment season can be prepaid for $750 — a $50 savings versus paying per visit.

The full perimeter of the property and around the outside of the house — including under decks and porches — plus the harborage spots where ticks actually live: brush piles, wood lines, stone walls, and dense ground cover. The property is reviewed first so treatment can focus on the areas that are actually a problem rather than blanket-spraying everything. Lawn treatment for fleas is available as an add-on. Blooming flowers are avoided to protect pollinators, and we can point out practical changes — such as moving a woodpile or clearing leaf litter along a wall — that may reduce tick pressure without additional pesticide.

Yes. The exterior pest program combines mosquito and tick treatment with targeted exterior treatment around the home for common nuisance insects such as ants, spiders and wasps. Basic is $150 per monthly visit; Pro is $165 and adds a granular perimeter treatment.

The listed prices cover most properties up to about a half acre. Bigger lots, heavily wooded parcels, and properties with extensive stone walls, brush, or wetland edges take more time and more material, so those get quoted on site. It's still a free estimate — larger or more complex properties are reviewed so the quote reflects the actual work rather than a guess.

No long-term commitment. There's a simple service agreement so we're both clear on what's being treated and what it costs, and it includes a cancel-at-any-time clause. If you want to stop, just tell me—no cancellation fee and no runaround. You can pay per treatment or prepay the season for a discount, whichever suits you.
